This course covers the basis and history of aviation security, prevalent threats to aircraft and airport operations, and measures to reduce or eliminate those threats. Participants will gain an understanding of the basic elements of aviation security and develop the awareness and capability to handle security threats that may arise.

The course enhances safety through establishing a higher level of security threat awareness across aviation personnel.
