Our trainers and consultants are experienced and reputable East African aviation professionals with a wealth of experience in Scheduled Airline, General Aviation and Relief Operations in Africa.

Our Directors

Nduati Njama

Director / Trainer

The founder of Aerosafe Consultants, Nduati Njama has over 40 years of experience in the aviation industry which includes 24 years as a pilot in an international carrier. He has sound experience as a trainer in several fields of aviation including safety management. He has several years of experience as a Civil Aviation Authority inspector and aviation operations consultant. He holds an MSc in Aviation Safety Management from City University London.

Mungai Kamenya Njuguna

Director / Trainer

Mungai is an airline pilot with over 20 years’ experience in medium to large jet aircraft. He has experience in air operator Flight Data Monitoring systems and is qualified as a Crew Resource Management trainer. He currently flies wide-body commercial aircraft as a Pilot-in-Command for a major international airline.

Murugi Njama

Accountable Manager

Murugi has over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, focusing on airline operations and aviation training. She began her aviation journey at CMC Flying School, earning a Private Pilot’s Licence, and later completed a BSc. in Safety Science at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. She later served as Head of Safety and Quality in various airline operations, also obtaining a Flight Operations Officer’s licence. She joined Aerosafe Africa Consultants as Head of Training and instructor, teaching subjects like Flight Operations & Dispatch, Human Factors, and Emergency Response Planning. Currently, she is the Accountable Manager at Aerosafe and lead instructor for the Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) courses.

Nicholas Gakami

Nicholas Gakami

Nicholas is an experienced instructor with a demonstrated history of working in the aviation industry.
Skilled in Leadership, Management and Flight Operations Officer Training.
Strong education professional with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) focused on Political Science and Socialogy from the University of Nairobi
