Course Objectives

• Demonstrate the level of knowledge and practical skills required to pass the KCAA Flight Operations Officer examinations.
• Pass the Aerosafe FOO trainee exams.
• Apply sufficient aviation operations skills globally within the aviation industry.
• Meet and maintain the required level of operations officer knowledge as per KCARs requirements and relevant industry best standards.

Entry Requirements

• Minimum aggregate pass of C at KCSE or equivalent, with a grade C or equivalent in any three of: Mathematics, English, Physics or Physical Science, and Geography.
• Be at least 18 years of age (subject to licensing limitations of 21 years).
• Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language.
• In possession of a Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Sufficient knowledge of mathematics and physics to facilitate understanding of the theoretical knowledge content.
• Pass an Aerosafe FOO course entry Aptitude Test.
