Basic Aviation Security
This comprehensive course covers the core principles and practices of aviation security. It is designed for personnel requiring a deeper understanding of aviation security systems, procedures, and responsibilities — going beyond awareness to build operational competence in aviation security.

- Aviation security personnel and screeners
- Airport security supervisors and managers
- Ground handling and passenger services staff with security responsibilities
- Personnel required to hold a Basic Aviation Security qualification under KCAA regulations
Prerequisites
- Completion of Aviation Security (AvSec) Awareness — Initial course, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a professional level.
- Background check and security clearance as required by the employing organisation.
